Numerous critical documents have been added to our Documents and Pictures page. Documents include the text for the special use permit authorizing 167 apartments and the restaurant, the complete environmental review, the 2 traffic studies, zoning regulations, and official reports from the Planning Board and Architectural Review Board.
We are still hard at work opposing this project. We are contacting state agencies and other entities that can help block this development.
Friends of Pittsford Village [FOPV] is a non-partisan non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the quality of life and environment of Pittsford Village. Members include homeowners, renters, and business owners within the Village.
About us:
Our current focus involves challenging the current proposed development at 75 Monroe. This is the largest development in the Village since the Erie Canal.
Our larger vision is to provide opportunities for neighbors to get together to improve our community. We would like to provide channels for improved communication among residents, and foster friendship and civic engagement. Whether you want to help plan a community garden, an art festival, or engage with government in shaping the future of our Village, a strong civic association is the vehicle for positive change.
